New Zealand industry and government workers sat on ergonomic Namco chairs for decades.
During the 1950s, Namco was one of the largest suppliers of office furniture and fit-outs in New Zealand. The robust, well made furniture was especially popular with government departments and industrial businesses.
By the 1960s and 70s, Namco had widened its offering to include lounge, dining and outdoor furniture. The new products were well made and popular with design conscious Kiwis across the county.
