Iconic Mid-Century Bar Stool Re-Released

We are pleased to annouce the re-issue of one of our favourite bar stools – come in and try them out at our Ponsonby Gallery.

It was an immediate 'Yes!' when we were given the opportunity to represent the coveted 1960s 'Danish Stool’ designed by Peter Brown for renowned Australian maker TH Brown.

Says Dan Eagle of Mr. Bigglesworthy, "One of the first designs that attracted us to the mid-century aesthetic was this elegant, adjustable stool. They are sculptural, lean and beautifully crafted with a tall organic backrest that defines the design".

The highly regarded company is now led by a third generation, continuing the family legacy. Simon Brown is passionate about protecting and continuing the TH Brown story. This is realised through a commitment to crafting unique, high end furniture from the finest sustainable timbers and premium leathers available.

Dan adds "We are impressed with the high level of craftsmanship that has been retained with the reissued stools. They are absolutely classic – attractive and functional for the needs of a contemporary audience and also deserving their place as a collector favourite of the future".

Feel free to drop in to our store – we would be pleased to show you around, offer you a coffee thanks to Café L'Affare and demonstrate these stunning new bar stools.
