Mad Men Modern | Studio MK 27, Brazil

Just about every week a customer asks us for Mad Men style furniture. So we asked ourselves: what would a Mad Men house look like if it was set in 2012? The work of Brazilian Studio MK27 provided us with an answer.

Studio MK 27 takes modern materiality, award winning architecture, a spash of luxury, an arrangement of irresistible mid century furniture and adds to it the vibrancy of Brazilian design. Their designer mansions encompass all the values which Mad Men embraced in the 1960s: cutting edge style, luxe interiors, architecture to dream about and fantastic mid century furniture. Featured here are images of Studio MK 27s Toblerone House, Bahia House, Paraty House, Chimney House and V4 House. Within these glorious structures are some mid century classics such as the Bear Chair by Hans Wegner, the Eames Lounger by Charles and Ray Eames and the Mole Armchair by Sergio Rodregues. See if you can spot them. To help you to achieve this Studio MK27/ Mad Men look, we have an Eames Lounger, a Backhouse Executive Desk, an Archie Shine Marble Top Sideboard and a Michael Payne Osaka Expo Chair in the gallery. So come in and check them out. Tribute to: homeds.com, letmebeinspired.com, designboom.com, remodelista.com, archdaily.com and archrecord.construction.com for images and info.
