Chic 'Drip Gold' Designer Mirror by Deknudt of Belgium
In 1946 Frans Deknudt created a mirror that was more beautiful, more innovative and of higher quality than anything available. Since then, Belgium mirror maker Deknudt has defined the market for premium designer mirrors. Beauty and function are combined in timeless designs that are informed by architecture, history, fashion and art.
This stunning mirror by Deknudt Mirrors, Belgium, is framed by a soft curve, rather than sharp corners. The imperfect, black printed strips alternate with gold areas, which have been applied by hand using sheet metal to the back of the mirror. A decorative graphic pattern frames the reflection, leaving plenty of room for a functional mirror.
The mirror can be hung in 4 directions, depending on how you like to see the pattern.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
