Description

This Featherston chair is defined by its sculpted seat base raised on out-swept cylindrical legs. The organic curve of the moulded plywood shell is beautifully upholstered and very comfortable.

This chair is a very rare and distinctly New Zealand version of the classic Featherston design. The now legendary Roukema Contour Series was designed for upmarket furniture retailer Jon Jansen by Bob Roukema in the late 1950s. Read more about the Contour Series here.
