White Herbert Terry Model 75 Anglepoise Lamp
This iconic offering showcases British industrial design at its best.
In 1932, inspired by the constant tension principle of human limbs, George Carwardine developed a lamp which could be both flexible and stable, like a human arm. The 'Anglepoise' lamp was a huge success and has since become one of the icons of 20th Century British industrial design.
The model 75, released in 1969 and produced until 1979, continues the legacy of the Anglepoise. It differs from earlier versions with its streamlined round base and fluted shade. It's a stunning design paired with an excellent range of motion - a clever combination of form and function.
We have two lamps available in very similar condition.
Good vintage condition with light scuffs and character wear to shade and base. All worn areas pictured.
