Description

Ole Wanscher was one of the leading lights in mid century Scandinavian design. He was the senior professor at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1955 until 1973 and has left a lasting legacy in furniture design.

This sleek sofa is a local interpretation of Wanscher's 1958 design for Danish maker France and Daverkosen. It features the ribbon-like arms and sculpted frame that defined the original design but the use of mahogany rather than teak, along with rattan detailing points to Pan Pacific origins.

This stunning sofa is as comfy as it is elegant and will make a statement in any contemporary interior.
