John Crichton Lamp
This unique lamp is a New Zealand modernist treat.
During the 1950s John Crichton worked as an industrial designer in Auckland City, creating spaces, furniture and objects. He is most famous for his furniture and bowls decorated with a mosaic tile design.
The archetypal green and cream mosaic on the base of this lamp complements the rich mahogany wood grain and sets the lamp apart from other mid-century pieces.
