Description

John Crichton was one of the most talented and progressive New Zealand designers of the mid 20th century. His pioneering work helped define what is now known as Pan Pacific modernism, a locally inspired fusion of Japanese, American and Pacific references combined with a modernist ethic.

Crichton's furniture is especially rare and sought after as it was generally produced in low quantities for commercial commissions and rarely labelled. This stunning original condition pair of chairs is the only example we have seen. They came out of the reception area of a retired Doctor's office.

Note: Price is for both chairs.
