Description

John Crichton was one of the most talented and progressive New Zealand designers of the mid 20th century. His pioneering work helped define what is now known as Pan Pacific modernism, a locally inspired fusion of Japanese, American and Pacific references combined with a modernist ethic.

This stunning tripod table features a graphic wrought iron base elevating a small teardrop shaped top. It's an early mid-century piece that will add character to any room of the house. Crichton furniture is rarely labelled, this piece is attributed based on the work of a leading auction house and other similar pieces produced by Crichton.
