Pair of Early Architectural Side Tables
A rare offering from a pioneering New Zealand designer.
These stunning architectural side tables are a rare and elegant example of early New Zealand design. A crest shaped top is elevated on unique steam bent plywood legs creating a progressive design that is still memorable today.
As with many examples of early architectural furniture, these tables are unsigned. The use of steam pressed Rimu plywood legs points to the work of Garth Chester, Tibor Donner or John Allingham.
