Herbert Terry Anglepoise Lamp
This iconic offering from George Carwardine for Herbert Terry showcases British industrial design at its best.
Inspired by the constant tension principle of human limbs, Carwardine developed a lamp which could be both flexible and stable, like a human arm. This is the model 1227 version 2, released in 1939. It features sleek Deco design paired with an excellent range of motion – a clever combination of form and function.
The lamp has been rewired in a period authentic braided cord and is ready for daily use.
