Description

Not only is this piece beautiful, but it has a huge amount of storage space. Very functional indeed.

The aim of Ercol during the post war period was to produce pieces that were "functional, beautiful and affordable". This design ethic explains why vintage Ercol pieces have gained somewhat of a cult following from a new audience keen for quality mid century modern pieces.

Ercol furniture draws its cues from the modern movement and functionalist Shaker style furniture. Innovative joinery, simple organic forms and the use of blonde woods such as elm, set Ercol's designs apart from other mid century pieces.
