Description

You are witnessing one of the best chairs in New Zealand's modern design history. Curvaceous, yet minimalist, this chair is a jewel in the crown of Michael Payne's design career.

It was first seen at the 1970 Osaka Expo, throwing New Zealand firmly into the limelight of the international furniture design world, and remaining a home grown favourite ever since.

We have reupholstered the chair in plush black, nappa leather. It doesn't just look great, this is an extremely comfortable chair.

Condition

Materials: A beautiful plywood,mahogany veneer, and chrome steel frame, complemented by new leather upholstery.

Chrome Finish: Some character aging consistent with use

Wood Finish: In excellent original condition with new finish applied

Fabric Type: Plush new nero nappa leather from RRP $500 per cubic metre
