Description

The Portuguese introduced glassblowing to Japanese craftsmen in the 18th century. During the mid 20th century Japanese art glass was highly influenced by the Italian makers from Murano. This generously scaled art glass is a superb example of the refined pieces produced by Japanese maker Hineri.

With its flourish of sculptural elegance, exquisite psychedelic colours and shimmering gold foil detailing, we're captivated by this piece. It's the perfect character addition to add a touch of mid century glamour into the home.

Condition

Glass Condition: Overall very good vintage condition and displays well. A shallow crack (as pictured) at the base of the bowl is only visible from the top, this has been glued.
