Description

Bang & Olufsen's Beosound 9000 is one of the most iconic design objects of the 1990s. It not only graced the homes of affluent taste makers throughout the world but was the prop of choice for designer apartments in movies. It's easy to see why this head turner was so coveted, the design was unlike anything else on the market.

B&O described the Beosound 9000 as 'kinetic sculpture' and they weren't kidding. It's minimalist form features a shimmering strip of metal and smoked glass close to a metre long. Beneath the glass spin a half-dozen compact discs with their labels facing outward. While everyone stares at your breathtaking stereo system they can also have full view of your superior taste in music – it's a win-win.

This Beosound 9000 comes with the optional floor stand upgrade and is paired with the equally spectacular BeoLab 8000 Speakers. It cost close to $17,000 when purchased new and looks just as spectacular today.

Overall excellent used condition. Speaker fabric has just been redone by B&O in Newmarket and is brand new.
