Description

Venetian art glass is celebrated for its dynamic forms and bold use of colour. This vibrant yellow and copper aventurine no exception. The crisp linear design is perfectly crafted and ready to take centre stage in any setting. This is a rare offering, designed exclusively for American retailer Weil by the Murano glass designer Barbini in the 1960's.

Weil Ceramics & Glass was an American importer with a large showroom on 5th Avenue in Manhattan, NY. They also had showrooms in Dallas & Chicago. The company operated between the 1950's to 1980's and specialised in imported high end glass & ceramics from Europe.
