Description

Working in a time of revolutionary design, Carl Jacobs created this iconic chair. The British, highly influenced by Danish modernism, began to develop their own unique design style formed under the direction of legendary designers like Ernest Race, Robin and Lucienne Day and Carl Jacobs for British firm Kandya.

Simple yet elegant, the Jason Chair is made from a sculpted timber base with cigar shaped legs, supporting a moulded beech plywood seat and back crafted from one continuous plywood piece. The chair was later reinterpreted by Frank Guille with a base of metal legs and could also be purchased in a series of colours.
