Description

From it's prized place in the permanent collection of the MoMA to stylish interiors throughout the world, the Eames lounge chair is an icon of inspired 20th century design.

Charles and Ray Eames' interpretation of the classic club style armchair is a modern masterpiece. Charles' vision was for a chair with "the warm, receptive look of a well-used first baseman's mitt".

This is an authentic licensed Herman Miller example produced in deluxe rosewood during in the 1970s.


Condition

Materials: Curved rosewood veneer plywood, cast aluminium frame, complemented by leather upholstery

Wood Finish: Excellent original condition, restored to museum quality

Aluminium Frame: Excellent original condition

Leather: Very good vintage condition with a nice worn in patina. One professional repair to the ottoman leather. Pictures available on request
