Pair of Linear 1970s Armchairs
Crisp geometry and an assertive design set these 1970s armchairs apart from the average.
These refined armchairs aren't just a case study in clean lined design they're also deceptively comfortable. The graphic geometric form of the beech frame embraces the modernist values of functionalism and absence of unnecessary ornament. The sleigh legs not only add a unique visual element to the chairs but two groves allow the backrest angle to be adjusted
The original owner purchased this set of chairs from a high end designer furniture store in Wellington in the early 1970s. Teamed with contemporary designer fabric from Textilia, this stylish offering will make a chic statement in any setting.
