Description

British furniture maker Ercol produced some of the UK's most coveted mid-century furniture. At the heart of the company is a love of solid timber, modern design and beautiful craftsmanship. This rarely seen dressing table designed by Ercol founder Lucian Ercolani is a textbook example of the elegant and highly refined aesthetic the company is celebrated for.

Premium cabinetry is evident from every angle, even from the back. Solid elm drawers feature subtle organically curved fronts with dovetail joints, these are also used on the cabinet. We love the memorable threaded wooden pegs that hold the mirror at the desired angle. This is a strikingly beautiful design that will elevate any contemporary space.

Ercol furniture draws its cues from the modern movement and functionalist Shaker style furniture. Innovative joinery, simple organic forms and the use of blonde woods such as elm, set Ercol's designs apart from other mid century pieces.
