Description

In the early 1950's Ces Renwick of Airest looked to America, the current leader in contemporary design, for inspiration on a range that would push boundaries and inspire a local Kiwi audience. The work of high end New York designer Vladamir Kagan seems to have been the main influence behind many of the premium Airest designs of this era.

The rare and utterly captivating Airest 'Sofarest' settee is a standout offering. The combination of solid mahogany, clean lines, curvaceous legs and sharp upholstery make for a show stopping design that will turn heads in any contemporary interior. A handy side unit creates a lightness of form and ensures you can recline with a glass of your favourite within close reach.
