Description

Richard Hornby designed furniture for affluent trendsetters during the mid 20th Century. His work for British furniture maker Fyne Ladye lead to a range of contemporary designs of the highest order, all crafted in solid wood from exotic timbers. Elegant simplicity is the defining feature of the range, easily evident in this striking piece.

This stunning display cabinet is crafted from a rare African hardwood called Afromosia. The design consists of a generous open cupboard with two sliding glass doors and adjustable shelves. Hornby carries through a range of accents in this series which include tapered legs and raised ridges on the top of the cabinet.
