Description

Omersa has a proud history dating back to 1927. The company started when founder 'Old Bill' wondered what could be done with the leather he had left over from hand luggage he supplied to high-end British department store Liberty of London. He came up with the idea of a stuffed leather pig footstool!

The rhinoceros was designed by Dimitri Omersa in the early 1960’s and offered to Liberty’s of London as an exclusive item. It was introduced to the USA market and sold through Abercrombie and Fitch from the mid '60s through to the mid '80s.

The Omersa Rhino is a beautifully-made leather object and coveted addition to the home that gets better with age.
