Description

Ernest Race has portrayed the vivid energy of the antelope in these simple, yet sculptural chairs. These pieces captured the imagination of post-war Britain with their sleek, atomic age optimism. They are considered to be one of the most iconic designs to emerge from the United Kingdom in the 1950s.

The very brilliance of this design is in its simplicity. Little more than a curve of plywood and a steel rod frame, these chairs express the power of good design, with their perfect execution.

We have three chairs remaining - one of each colour. Price is per chair.
