Curvaceous Victor Wilkins 'Fresco' Model 4388D Dining Table by G-Plan
In 1967 G-Plan released the 'Fresco' range by the talented British designer Victor Wilkins. It was an instant success and remained in production for the next 15 years. The G-Plan catalogue enthused "In the Fresco range Victor Wilkins introduces a new look to modern furniture: the sculptured look. A rounding of hard corners. A delicate curving of edges. A moulded feeling to handles. Fresco is modern sculpture to live with – very comfortably!"
This elegant extendable dining table from the Fresco range features a warm and inviting form with soft curves and memorable detailing. We love the ring of contrasting afromosia against the teak tabletop that defines the design and highlights the quality craftsmanship. It's a stunning offering that will stand out in any contemporary home.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
