John and Sylvia Reid are one of Britain's most celebrated design couples. From the early 1950s they were employed as design consultants for contemporary furniture maker Stag. The partnership led to some of the most cutting edge designs of the era.
This sharp dressing table is a stunning example of mid century British design. It could also be used as a small desk and features high quality construction combined with a crisp linear form. It's the details that really set this piece apart a€“ we love the distinctive angular handles and balanced proportions. Three spacious drawers provide plenty of storage space, perfect for the bedroom or home office.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
