Cute Mid-Century Yugoslavian Folding Magazine Rack by Nasco
This elegant beech plywood magazine rack is a brilliant example of mid-century design. A simple folding 'X' form gives the piece a light utilitarian presence perfect for storing and displaying your favourite books and magazines.
It's interesting to note that this design was produced by Nasco of Yugoslavia and also Lobeco of Romania. The designer is yet to be identified but the work shares a similar aesthetic to that of Slovenian industrial designer Niko Kralj.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
