Parker Furniture was a top of the range offering throughout the 1960s and has a legacy for creating some of the finest mid-century furniture; this sharp sofa is no exception. The advertising catch phrase of the day proudly proclaimed that the designs are 'for people who make living an art'. With Tony Parker interpreting the finest Scandinavian designs for an Australasian audience it was a statement that quickly rang true.
A sleek mid-line design of perfect proportions cradles four simple box cushions. This is refined simplicity at its most inspired.Not just eye candy for the lounge, this stunning sofa is also deceptively comfortable. We have upholstered the cushions in a crisp designer fabric that complements the sculpted design of the frame.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
