An original 1950s design from Ercol founder Lucian Ercolani, the All Purpose Chair has become a contemporary classic for both the home and workplace. True to its name, the All Purpose Chair's noble, utilitarian appearance allows it to seamlessly blend into a wide array of environments and interiors.
The precise, minimal form of the All-Purpose Chair pays tribute to the meticulous craftsmanship and structural sensibility that Lucian Ercolani built his legacy on. Today, the All Purpose Chair is built in the L. Ercolani UK furniture factory, honouring standards of craftsmanship, quality and sustainability that have been developed over 100 years.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
