Pair of Memorable Hans Wegner Inspired Yugoslavian Folding Chairs
Inspired by the scissor form of the well known 'Model 512' Chair by Hans Wegner, this variation is crafted by an unknown Yugoslavian maker. Constructed from beech with brass detailing, the stunning rope cord seat offers texture and organic detail to the graphic frame.
These chairs were purchased new by the original owner in Sweden in the 1970s and have been cherished. Recline in mid-century style with this unique pair, perfect for the bach or a sun lit room with your morning coffee.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
