Parker Furniture was a top of the range offering throughout the 1960s and has a legacy for creating some of the finest mid-century furniture; these sharp armchairs are no exception. The advertising catch phrase of the day proudly proclaimed that the designs are 'for people who make living an art'. With Tony Parker interpreting the finest Scandinavian designs for an Australasian audience it was a statement that quickly rang true.
A sleek mid-line design of perfect proportions cradles two simple box cushions. This is refined simplicity at its most inspired. Not just eye candy for the lounge, these stunning armchairs are also deceptively comfortable. We have upholstered the cushions in a crisp designer fabric that complements the sculpted design of the frame.
Teak frame with new foam and fabric. Upholstered with Zion 'Chalk' designer fabric from Warwick. Composition: 57% Acrylic 43% Polyester. Care Label 3: Do not remove cushion covers for separate cleaning or washing, even though they may have zippers. Shampoo clean using upholstery shampoo. Do not use dishwashing or laundry detergents. Do not wet filling. Do not scrub with a stiff brush. Dry in shade away from direct heat. Allow to dry thoroughly before re-use;
