Playful Claude Trevor Clark Stool by C.T. Clark
This memorable NZ made stool is defined by playful circular elements. A curved tube steel frame in vibrant red creates a transparent cylinder-like form supporting a round Rimu timber seat with concave semi-circular detailing to the edge.
We haven't encountered this design before but it was registered in both New Zealand and Australia in 1984 so the designer must have had ambitious plans for the design. It's a nice insight into postmodern industrial design in New Zealand
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
