Marc Berthier is one of the iconic French heroes of modern design with over five decades of cutting edge work to his name. His designs grace the collections of all the significant museums of modern art, most notably the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Musée National d'Art Moderne in France. Berthier's designs have been produced by the worlds best makers including Knoll and Hermés, and even featured on the cover of Time magazine.
Berthier has been collaborating with premium Italian furniture maker Magis for over 30 years. This trolley / coffee table is a great example of his work during the late 1980s. It features a simple black trolley with perforated metal surfaces, supported by large circular castors. It's a unique piece that is perfect for modern living.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
