Rare Ejner Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen Desk by Naestved Mobelfabrik
Celebrated design duo Ejner Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen are known for their simple and timeless design objects. The duo’s work has been exhibited within Denmark and internationally, including at La Triennale in Milan, Italy, at the “Design in Scandinavia” and “The Arts of Denmark” exhibits in the USA, and at the Gewerbemuseum (Museum of Applied Arts and Design) in Bern, Switzerland.
This rare desk in teak and steel is ultra light and linear, with a single set of drawers floating to one side under the table top. The steel legs are beautifully finished with small teak feet to round out incredibly elegant design which looks as good today as the day it was crafted. Pop your feet up at the end of the day, you earned it!
