Six Coveted Mario Bellini 'Cab 412' Dining Chairs by Cassina
The 'Cab' Chair was first produced in 1977 and conceived by celebrated Italian designer Mario Bellini. Impeccably crafted from thick hide leather panels which age beautifully. This chair is full of 1970s character and charm and is still in production, making it a coveted 20th century design classic.
The cab chair is created with a series of 14 processes all executed by hand over a steel frame. It's a landmark design in the history of furniture and one of the most coveted designs in Cassina's celebrated oeuvre. Make a unique statement in the dining room combined with a sculptural or minimal dining table.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
