Six Leslie Dandy 'Fresco' Dining Chairs by G-Plan
The iconic 'Fresco' Model 4540 dining chair by Leslie Dandy is one of most successful designs produced by G-Plan. It was released in 1970 and became an instant best seller. Inspired by Scandinavian design ideals, these chairs incorporate elegant organic lines and simple forms. They also happen to be incredibly comfortable. The design was so good it was in constant production for 17 years, from 1970 right through to 1987.
Four sculptural vertical struts give the chair's backrest a distinctive profile and a very comfortable seating experience. This is complemented by outswept hind legs which highlight the organic nature of the design and quality of craftsmanship.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
