Six Memorable John Herbert 'Volnay' Dining Chairs by Younger
Younger made high end furniture for discerning customers during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Their products were made in low volume, crafted to the highest standard and always on the cutting edge of design.
Considered, sculptural shapes have been incorporated in this dining chair design to create a unique piece. A softly curved arch is repeated throughout the chair back and base, combined with square edges and angular features – together these offer balance and a memorable design for a contemporary dining space.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
