Stunning Italian Franco Albini 'Belladonna' Rattan Sofa by Sika Design
Belladonna is an characterful and enduring wicker sofa design from Franco Albini and Franca Helg in 1951. Handmade from durable rattan with unique, organic lines, this is a special piece which creates an enveloping space to enjoy and relax in.
Albini and Helg were a prolific design duo in the 1950s who produced an extensive series of bold design furniture pieces which have remained collectable for today's audience. Paired with a designer textured fabric in barely there pink, this design suits being on its own in that tucked away space or with other light timber designs to create an effortless look.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
