Stunning Martin Leiman 'H-1053 Brush Stroke' Table Lamp by Laurel Lamp Co
Described as a 39” original metal sculpture, this lamp was offered in polished chrome or Malayan bronze on a black metal base. Designed by Martin Leiman for the Laurel Lamp Company 1974.
Laurel lamps are universally loved for their adventurous shapes and sculptural elements. With organic curves and perfect proportions teamed with a geometric base, we can see why anyone would love a design like this. This dramatic, elegant piece adds a luxurious touch to any room it is placed in.
Historically, this piece has been incorrectly attributed to the Italian designer Maurizio Tempestini.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
