Description

Ole Wanscher was one of the leading lights in mid century Scandinavian design. He was the senior professor at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 1955 until 1973 and has left a lasting legacy in furniture design.

These sleek armchairs are a local interpretation of Wanscher's 1958 design for Danish maker France and Daverkosen. They feature the ribbon-like arms and sculpted frame that defined the original design but the use of mahogany rather than teak, along with rattan detailing points to their Pan Pacific origins.

These stunning armchairs are as comfy as they are elegant and will make a statement in any contemporary interior.
