This bold, highly functional bureau / desk by Danish designer Andreas Hansen is defined by it's elegant form and expressive use of premium cabinetry. It is crafted from solid cherry wood with exposed, beautifully crafted finger joints, brass hardware and leather detailing. It's an exceptional piece of Danish design and a highly functional workstation for the home or office.
Andreas Hansen (1936– ) is a noted Danish designer known for his work in lighting and furniture. He trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts' School of Furniture Design. In 1966 he established his own practice and worked with a number of Danish makers like Brdr. Andersen and Louis Poulsen to create timeless, classic designs which celebrated colour and sculptural, modernist form.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
