Bruno Matthson is one of the prominent Swedish mid-century designer / architects. His most enduring works are the imaginative, highly sculpted series of bentwood chairs dating from the 1940s. The free flowing forms epitomised Scandinavian 1960s luxury furniture and pushed the use of the material.
This elliptical coffee table shows off a series of continuous curves and elegant forms to create an object which is stunning from every angle. Every room needs a centrepiece and this sculptural coffee table will turn heads.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
