Iconic Jorgen Rasmussen 'Kevi' Office Chair by Fritz Hansen
This iconic and highly refined office chair will add character to any office space.
Some designs are so insightful and inspired that they set the standard others must follow. The Kevi chair, designed in 1958 by Jorgen Rasmussen, falls into that category. The invention of the Kevi led to over 2.5 million sales and to this day continues to be recognised as a highly successful and versatile design.
In 1965, Jorgen Rasmussen invented the ‘twin-wheel castor’ for the chair which has became the leading standard for wheel design that we see in almost everything today.
The Kevi is suitable for homes, offices, schools and workplaces where one solution must satisfy many demands. Everything is visible, nothing is superfluous: seat, back, base, and controls designed to function perfectly. The Kevi proves good design is timeless.
