Miniminal, sculptural and unique, the MVS Chaise by Maarten Van Severen is an inspired form crafted from high end materials matched with quality construction.
Belgian designer Maarten Van Severen started creating furniture in the mid-1980s, initially producing the pieces himself in his Ghent workshop. His designs are characterised by their simple form and superb comfort. The collaboration with Vitra began in 1996, resulting in the now highly coveted Van Severen Collection.
Each piece is checked and carefully hand restored at our Kingsland studio workshop. Our focus is preserving the character and patina of the design while ensuring it displays beautifully in a contemporary interior.
