DON Folding Sofa with Rattan Back

This elegant sofa daybed from DON is a stunning mid-century offering.

The "world famous in New Zealand" manufacturer has excelled in capturing the sleek Scandinavian style with this memorable sofa. This design is inspired by the work of celebrated Danish Designer Finn Juhl and the 'Model 138' sofa he designed for France & Son. The clean lines and soft curves of the armrest reference the roof line of a Japanese Shinto Torii Gate.

A sculpted frame in radiant mahogany is realised through the high end craftsmanship that DON furniture is known for. The rattan detailing in the backrest softens the design and gives it an organic warmth. We love how the sofa folds down into a daybed, it's the perfect place for that sneaky afternoon nap.
