The linear design of this pair features a generous rectangular seat and backrest raised on unique 'X' legs in mahogany. It's a beautiful offering that will make a memorable focal point in any modern environment.
Designed and made by Aucklander Ray Driver in the 1960s. A family craftsman, Driver built the family home, a 30ft ketch and many other furniture items. He worked as a woodwork and technical drawing teacher at Westlake Boys High School.
