Iconic Charles & Ray Eames Contract Table by Herman Miller
This simple table design demonstrates the hallmark refined taste and organic design that the Eames couple are famous for.
Released to the market in 1964, the Eames Segmented Tables were a group of dining, work and conference tables designed with an ingenious base system that allowed for an almost indefinite number of top size possibilities, expansion and versatility unrivaled anywhere in the marketplace. This iconic design is as striking and versatile today since its first inception.
Suitable for four, or perfect for use as in a commercial environment, the table features a beautiful oak top, supported by an aluminium base and raised from the ground by castor wheels. The elegant components are so deceptively simple. The reduced forms – a circle, a straight line, curve – are combined with precision and boldness. It's a stunning piece suitable for any contemporary interior.
