Curvaceous Victor Wilkins 'Fresco' Model 4388D Dining Table by G-Plan
Another outstanding example of the architectural style and great design from one of our favourite UK makers, G-Plan.
In 1967 G-Plan released the 'Fresco' range by the talented British designer Victor Wilkins. It was an instant success and remained in production for the next 15 years. The G-Plan catalogue enthused "In the Fresco range Victor Wilkins introduces a new look to modern furniture: the sculptured look. A rounding of hard corners. A delicate curving of edges. A moulded feeling to handles. Fresco is modern sculpture to live with – very comfortably!"
This elegant extendable dining table from the Fresco range features a warm and inviting form with soft curves and memorable detailing. We love the ring of contrasting afromosia against the teak tabletop define the design and highlight the quality craftsmanship. It's a stunning offering that will stand out in any contemporary home.
