G-Plan 'Model 6250' Armchair
This luxurious and masculine armchair was made famous by super villain 'Blofeld' in the James Bond film 'You Only Live Twice'.
This top of the line armchair captured the glamorous understated British style during the 1960s. The February 1965 catalogue from G-Plan enthuses about its "uncompromising dimensions and comfort, amply meriting its description as the world's most comfortable chair".
This iconic chair also featured in the classic Michael Caine movie Get Carter. Caine's character Jack Carter puts an end to Cliff Brumby who slumps back into the chair. ...What a comfortable way to go.
